Put Your Money on BetMonarch: Sports Betting Goes Mobile at Monarch Casino Resort Spa May 8th

Monarch offers Colorado’s only in-house sportsbook, just in time for the big fight

Wagers, parlays, futures, teasers, prop bets: the wait for sports betting is finally over in Colorado as Monarch Casino Resort Spa is thrilled to announce the launch of its own mobile sportsbook on a new app called BetMonarch. Beginning May 8th, users can download the app and place wagers just in time for the big fight on May 9th! If Monarch guests are feeling good about Denver’s sports teams this year, they can also bet on any of those teams to win the championship.

Monarch Casino’s sportsbook will be the only in-house sportsbook offered in Colorado, allowing guests a unique opportunity to take advantage of up-to-the-second lines, quick payouts, and the best overall user experience. Most sportsbooks are managed abroad. Local management increases the fluidity and quality of the betting experience for Monarch guests. It also means players will be able to earn comps and tier points with every sports bet and then use their comps for dining, hotel stays and more at the all-new Monarch Casino Resort Spa.

“We have operated our own sportsbook at our Nevada resort for years and we are so excited to apply all of that knowledge for Coloradans. We will give sports bettors the best product and the best guest service with our sports betting app, just as we aspire to do in every other part of our resort,” said Chief Operating Officer David Farahi.

Unlike the other sports betting apps with management teams overseas, the new Monarch Sportsbook Manager Nick Epstein will be available on-site, through email, and by phone to answer any questions players may have either in-person or digitally.  “I look forward to meeting all of our sportsbook guests,” said Epstein.

There is also a Sportsbook FAQ on the new Monarch Casino Resort Spa website at The launch of sports betting is just one of many exciting changes expected for Monarch Casino Resort Spa in 2020. Soon guests will get to experience a brand-new expanded gaming floor, The Buffet, Monarch Chophouse, the 516-room hotel and a world-class spa.

In the meantime, Monarch Casino continues to work with local and state health authorities on a comprehensive guest and Team Member safety plan ahead of reopening.

“As soon as we get back to work, we are going to put Coloradans back to work with a continuing emphasis on the health and safety of guests and Team Members,” said Farahi.

Monarch Casino Resort Spa is just a short 45-minute drive west of Denver and offers complimentary parking in our 1350 space garage that includes electric charging stations.
