Monarch Casino Resort Spa Introduces New EV Stations and FloWater Refills

Expanded EV Network and Water Refill Stations add to Monarch’s Commitment to a Greener Guest Experience

According to Booking.com’s 2025 Sustainable Travel Report, more than half of global travelers, 53%, are now conscious of the impact their travel has on both local communities and the environment. Monarch Casino Resort Spa is addressing this growing awareness by combining luxury and environmental responsibility with two new enhancements: installing all-new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and 18 advanced water refill stations. These additions reflect Monarch’s ongoing investment in eco-conscious innovation while maintaining its reputation as Colorado’s premier luxury gaming resort.

The upgraded EV network now includes 40 charging stations in its free indoor parking garage, four of which are ADA-accessible, providing convenient and inclusive access for eco-conscious guests.

In tandem with the charging expansion, Monarch has also installed 18 FloWater Refill Stations throughout the resort. These stations deliver cold, purified water free of microplastics and harmful contaminants, providing a high-quality alternative to single-use plastic bottles.

By incorporating refill stations and expanding its EV infrastructure, Monarch is helping to keep plastic bottles out of landfills and emissions out of the atmosphere, one charge and one refill at a time.

These additions are the latest in a series of green initiatives Monarch has implemented to deliver an elevated and environmentally conscious guest experience. Other sustainability efforts include energy-efficient plumbing fixtures, smart LED lighting systems with occupancy sensors, paperless check-in and check-out, and a state-of-the-art Vavreau water filtration system in public areas, preventing an estimated 45,000 plastic bottles from going to waste each year.

Whether staying for a weekend or visiting for the day, guests can enjoy luxury, gaming, dining, and spa services while knowing their carbon footprint is just a little bit lighter.
