First the parking garage implosion, then the groundbreaking for the new hotel and spa, now Monarch Casino Black Hawk is looking to fill up to 1,000 jobs in the coming 18-24 months!
The casino broke ground on its new 23-story hotel and spa Wednesday morning, kicking off a building boom that will employ more than 500 construction workers over the next two years.
The expansion will nearly double the approximately 30,000 existing square feet of casino space and add a 23-story hotel tower with approximately 500 guest rooms and suites, an upscale spa and pool facility, a total of four restaurants and several new bars. The new facilities will open in phases.
Monarch will hire an additional 1,000 team members in spa, food and valet services to run the new resort as it opens in phases over the next two years. Job seekers are encouraged to apply now for the first 35 openings.
“This is a great opportunity for job seekers to get in on the ground floor,” said David Farahi, COO of Monarch Casino Black Hawk. “At Monarch Casino Black Hawk we have a philosophy of promoting from within. Quality team members are key to providing the outstanding friendly and professional guest service which is one of our most important attributes.”
The company offers competitive, comprehensive benefits packages and is just a 45 minute drive from downtown Denver. Job seekers are encouraged to visit Monarch Casino’s career page to view job openings, benefits and application procedures.
The casino already has undergone a recent renovation including construction of a nine-story parking structure with state-of-the-art lighting. When coupled with valet parking spaces, the property has room for 1,500 vehicles.
