Logistics for Monarch Casino Black Hawk Garage Implosion

NOTE: The parking garage has been wrapped in a geotextile fabric to aid in the environmental protection of Clear Creek and to reduce small particles from getting into the air. This wrapping will remain on building throughout implosion.

LOCATION:    

• Live trucks can park on the right-hand turn lane of Mill Street onto Hwy 119
• Use Central City Parkway route to enter Black Hawk, free parking available throughout city

TIME:  Crews may arrive from 4am until 7:30am Wednesday, December 21st

• 4am - Main Street Closed
• 7:30am - All crews must be in place
• 7:30am -  Hwy 119 North is closed
• 8:15am -  Hwy 199 South is closed
• 8:45am - Hwy 119 North and South open
• 9:00 am -  Drone video in Dropbox

CREDENTIALS: All crews must be credentialed by 3pm Today (Tuesday) to be in Media Area - please contact Diane Mulligan at 720.273.0927 with information.

PUBLIC: There is NO PUBLIC VIEWING of the implosion
